Gather Rnd
Connect your AI assistant to Gather Rnd
Plan the week, make asks and keep up with your circle by asking your AI assistant. It acts for you, in the circles you’re in, and you see what it will get before anything is shared.
Gather Rnd is invite only: you’ll need an account in a circle. Request an invite
The connector address
https://mcp.gatherrnd.app
Tap or click it to select the whole address, then copy it into your assistant.
How to add it
In Claude
- Open Settings, then Connectors.
- Choose Add custom connector, name it Gather Rnd, and paste the address.
- Choose Connect. A Gather Rnd page opens: sign in the way you do in the app.
- Read what Claude will get, then choose Allow. When it says Claude is connected, you can close the tab.
Other AI assistants that take custom connectors (some call them MCP servers) work the same way: add the address, then sign in.
What your assistant will get
The same as the page you’ll see before you choose Allow:
Your assistant will be able to see what you can see in Gather Rnd, in every circle you’re in: everyone’s plans on the week, including when and where members under 13 will be; whatever people wrote in events, asks and notes, which can include something like a doctor’s appointment; karma; and members’ names. Members under 13 appear only by their nickname.
It can act for you: plan the week, make and change asks, take them, mark them done and confirm them. Asks it makes are yours, and your circle is told as when you ask from the app. It can’t invite anyone, connect a calendar, or delete your account or a circle, and it never sends a message for you.
What your assistant receives becomes part of your conversations with it, which its provider keeps under their own terms and privacy policy, not Gather Rnd’s. Any circle can turn AI assistants off, and you can disconnect yours at any time.
Disconnect it
In the Gather Rnd app, tap your face at the top right, then Settings. Under AI assistants, tap Disconnect. It stops at once, though what it has already received stays with its provider. An accountable member can also turn assistants off for a whole circle on Circle settings.
